2011 has seen Lemon Street Gallery undergo a refurbishment… well, some repairs. As I opened the doors in my Christmas finery on 27th of December, champagne in hand, I was met by flood water and devastation; Gallery 1 was destroyed completely. All of our shows have been postponed until the 2nd of April, when I will be privileged to open with Paul Feiler in Galleries 1 and 2, and Catherine Armitage in Gallery 3.
However, in the meantime, since you cannot come to the gallery, the gallery comes to you with a selection of works from gallery artists who continue to support me regardless. I hope you enjoy viewing online, and should you wish to discuss anything of interest we are here at the gallery waiting for the phones to ring again! On the end of the line, you may hear a new voice. Rosie Willmot, a recent graduate in English and History of Art from the University of Birmingham, has recently joined us. Rosie is originally from Cornwall, and was inspired by its vivid art scene to study Art History. She is very excited to be working at the gallery, and she will be a fantastic addition to the team.
Kate is now based in London where Lemon Street Gallery is now able to offer our clients who cannot attend the exhibitions a bespoke service, to help you build your collection in a more convenient way. Should you wish Kate to pop round with a view to sourcing new acquisitions, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we can arrange an appointment.
Likewise, if you need to change your address details, or add a friend to our mailing list, please do let us know.
